St Catherine’s Band en route to NYC for St Patrick’s Day 2024!

St Catherines Band in Killybegs were left devastated in 2020 when their St Patrick’s Day visit to New York was cancelled due to Covid, but now they are planning to head to the city for the 2024 parade.

The band members and their families were faced with the reality that they would potentially lose everything as NY and USA were still open for travel.

Fortunately, Liberty Travel were able to refund almost 70% of what was lost.

The band have kept the dream alive of fulfilling the trip and have been invited to New York for St Patrick’s Day 2024.

The Killybegs band are now planning on parading on 5th Avenue to represent Killybegs and Donegal.

St. Catherine’s Band would like to thank the community and surrounding areas for their ongoing support and they look forward to representing them in The Big Apple next March.
