It started off as a trickle and it’s now well and truly a flood.
A staggering 30 cruise ships have now been confirmed to visit Killybegs over the summer months.
It follows the addition of two more impressive liners to the list of vessels coming into Killybegs harbour up until October.
The two new vessels confirmed for the port are the MS Riviera on June 20th and the MS Silver Shadow on August 6th.
A number of huge liners including the Norwegian Star and the Mein Schiff (pictured above) have already visited Killybegs this summer.
The biggest vessel due to dock is the Norwegian Getaway which measures a staggering 326 metres in length and which can cater for almost 4,000 passengers.
That ship arrives in port on September 28th for one day.
Most of the liners coming into port stay for the full day and allow passengers the chance to see Killybegs and the surrounding areas providing an economic opportunity for businesses in the area.
