An investigation is underway into a ‘worrying’ assault in Milford.
A young boy was walking home from school on Wednesday last when he was attacked by two males on the Convent road at approx 3.55pm.
Gardaí say the males were not known to the victim.
The boy was taken by ambulance to Letterkenny University Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Spokesperson Garda Grainne Doherty said that this was a worrying incident.
“We are anxious to further this investigation,” Gda Doherty said in a community appeal.
“We ask any witnesses in the area who might have seen the incident and anybody travelling in the area with a dashcam to please drop the footage into us.”
