A group set up to take a legal case over defective blocks in homes across Donegal have welcomed an endorsement from the Mica Action Group.
The group last week appealed for anybody affected by Mica but who had not taken a legal case to consider joining the group.
The case is being taken in the High Court by Defective Blocks Ireland, a not-for-profit organisation.
The organisation was founded by Buncrana businessmen Adrian Sheridan and Shaun Hegarty.
The pair have welcomed the support and endorsement of the Mica Action Group for its ongoing High Court legal action.
Commenting on the endorsement Adrian Sheridan said “We welcome the public support from THE
Mica Action Group for the High Court legal action.
“With over 1800 homeowners signed up to date, this pivotal legal case represents the only viable option to vindicate the rights of all those affected and seek a genuine 100% Redress by fully restoring all losses incurred by affected homeowners.
“In the wake of MAG’s endorsement, we have seen a significant increase in homeowners making contact
with the Coleman Legal office within the past 24 hours. The team at Coleman Legal continues to
accept new participants into the case, but the opportunity to join will soon be closing.
“It is important to note that affected homeowners can join the case without any financial cost, as all legal expenses are being funded by Defective Blocks Ireland. We would encourage all affected homeowners to
consider signing up to the legal case.
“Homeowners in Donegal deserve nothing less than justice and the protection of their civil rights, and this legal case presents a crucial opportunity to achieve that”
