Scoil an Linbh Íosa in Killymard, Donegal Town are running a draw in order to raise funds for a brand new playground.

The number of students attending the school has risen significantly in recent years, and the school lacks the necessary space for the children at lunchtimes and physical activity lessons.

They hope to add a playground to the school and upgrade current playground facilities.

The cost of this approximately €40,000 and the school is running different fundraising events to help with the costs.

The school are currently running their 50/50 draw for the final term of the school year, where the prize is half of the proceeds. Therefore, the more money raised, the greater the prize.

The prices of the tickets are 1 for €3, 3 for €10 and 5 for €20.
