Rathmullan Tidy Towns Group are organising a free ‘Talk and Walk’ event, centred around swifts, on Wednesday.
The group welcome Lynda Huxley from the Swift Conservation of Ireland on International Swift Day to talk about the birds that make a perilous journey home to nest in Rathmullan every year.
The talk will start at the Ozanam Centre, Rathmullan at 7pm and will be followed by a walk around town to see some swifts in action.
The event is free and suitable for all ages.
