The owner of Stateside American Restaurant has announced its closure after 12 years in business.

The American-themed diner at Riverside Retail Park is to reopen as a new restaurant with new owners ‘shortly’.

The restaurant was enjoyed by people of all ages and over the years became known for its innovative menus catering to all customers.

Owner Patricia Hill has also been a very active member and supportive member of the Letterkenny Chamber community.

Saying goodbye to customers this evening, Ms Hill wrote: “The 12 year Stateside story now comes to an end, but a new venture will open shortly in its place.

“My main aim was to ensure that our staff jobs were secure with the new owners, and that our loyal customers will have a fantastic new adventure.

“With the goodwill of the new owners, all vouchers still outstanding will be honoured by the new business which should be opened within the next week or so. I do hope you support them as much as you all supported me.”

Patricia said she loved sharing her business adventure with so many people along the way.

“I’ve watched so many children grow up from babies and shared so many wonderful journeys with you all. Your company has given me much joy and happiness.

“I now start the next chapter of my own adventure closer to my girls and wish you all the very best of luck. Thanks for your kind support, custom and friendship over the years. With fondest regards, Patricia x.”
