Termon senior ladies scoop Comórtas Peile Na Gaeltachta trophy

Congratulations to our senior ladies on their sensational performance at the weekend’s All Ireland Finals of Comórtas Peile Na Gaeltachta hosted by Naomh Muire.

They scored 17-32 in two games over two days, with 10-20 of that coming in the win over Moycullen in the final. Geraldine McLaughlin scored 4-4 in the decider as Ciara McGarvey chipped in with 2-2, 1-5 came from Roisin McCafferty and Roisin Friel hit 1-3. The other goalscorers were Emer Gallagher and Jill McGettigan while Jodie McFadden scored 0-3, Shannon McLaughlin, Nicole McLaughlin and Sophie Curran would also contribute on the scoresheet as Termon won an 8th Gaeltacht title. It was an all round impressive display from a group who were hungry for success. Well done to the management of Adrian and Kevin and to everyone involved with the senior ladies.

This year’s All Ireland winning team was Orla Corry; Siobhan Cameron, Emer Gallagher, Maria Carr; Niamh Bonner, Nicole McLaughlin, Ailbhe McDaid; Shannon McLaughin, Jill McGettigan; Anna Gallagher, Roisin McCafferty, Jodie McFadden; Roisin Friel, Geraldine McLaughlin, Ciara McGarvey. Subs – Lauren Gallagher Sophie Curran Jenny McGettigan.


Lotto Results for 4/6/2023. No’s drawn were 14 20 23 26. There was no winner of the €5450 Jackpot. Match 3 – no winner. Open Draw Winners €10 Each – Francis Murray Ramelton, PJ Kelly,
Mary Crerand & Mary Neely.

Bingo continues Friday night at 830pm in Craoibhin, books available online at Termon Bingo Facebook, in Kevin mc Cafferty’s shop and also at the hall in Craoibhin on Friday night. €3700 in prizes this week.


With the ongoing developments at the Burn Road, coaches and parents are asked to be extra vigilant around the pitch and site area, particularly with the younger teams . Please ensure, under no circumstances any player enters the site compound. There are too many significant dangers and no entry for any reason including retrieving balls is not permitted. Could parents ensure their children are left at and collected at the playing field in a responsible manner.
