Fifth year students at Loreto Community School Milford, alongside Portadown College in Co. Armagh, have come together as ‘Poreto for Progression’ and will launch their joint Youth Manifesto on Monday.

As part of the intensive cross-border project, the students in both schools have participated in overnight residentials, met several high-profile politicians, shared their stories & experiences, debated topical issues and made friendships along the way.

At the event students from both schools will present their manifesto to the local community and local politicians. A light lunch will also be provided.

The project culminates with the launch of the Youth Manifesto on Monday, June 12, at 12pm in the Mulroy Woods Hotel, Milford.
