A young man has died in Dublin following a collision on his electric bike.
The 18-year-old cyclist collided with a pillar in a housing estate in Tallaght last night at approx 10.30pm.
He was taken to Tallaght University Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
No other vehicles were involved in the tragic incident.
A technical examination of the scene was completed by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators yesterday evening.
