The highly anticipated Buncrana Music Festival returns on Friday 30th June and Saturday 1st of July, and organiser Barry Doherty expects a fantastic event.

The spectacular line-up includes international acts Scouting for Girls and Jake Bugg, as well as Irish artists, including former ‘Walking on Cars’ frontman Pa Sheehy, Hermitage Green, Saibh Skelly and Reevah among other artists will ensure crowds are entertained throughout the entire weekend.

A welcome introduction last year, motorhome parking and camping are also available as B&Bs and local hotels fill up, and tickets for camping, as well as event tickets are available to purchase online at www.buncranamusicfestival.com

Speaking about this year’s event, organiser Barry Doherty said, “We have invested heavily in the event every year since 2017, and the festival brings thousands of people to the local area benefitting lots of local businesses. In fact, most of our ticket sales so far are from outside the Donegal area.

“This year’s lineup is one of our best yet, and we want to make this year the best ever for the town. The festival is going from strength to strength, and each year we continue to grow the festival into one of the must-see gigs of the year.

“Locally, having this level of event on our doorstep is also great value for music lovers.”

Mr Doherty also announced that for local people, a ticket office will be available in the coming week, located at the Shore Front, for anyone who has difficulty purchasing tickets online without a card or internet access, or would prefer to buy a printed ticket.
