‘No NCT – no car’ Gardaí warn motorists

Gardaí have reminded motorists they seize any vehicle they come across that doesn’t have a valid NCT cert.

Garda PSV Inspectors are out on the roads this morning checking vehicles.

One car was seized in Letterkenny as it did not have a valid NCT. A PSV exam will now be carried out on the vehicle.

“No test – no car. It really is as simple as that,” a garda spokesperson said.

“Ensure that your vehicle is in a roadworthy condition before taking to the roads and have your documents in order.”
