Vacancy: Divers Hyundai require Operations Manager for Service Department

Divers Hyundai in Letterkenny require an Operations Manager for their busy Service Department.

Responsibilities:

* Responsible for the workshop supervisory team and support provision in the effective management of all staff members.
* Operates within agreed KPI parameters.
* Responsible for agreed production targets and communicates targets for volume and quality with staff members through a combination of daily team briefing, effective deployment of assigned staff, and optimum working shift arrangements.
* Assisting Service Advisors in advising customers of necessary repairs and service including estimates of cost; and in making recommendations to customers regarding preventative maintenance on their vehicles.
* Review workshop loading and manage team of technicians and workflow through the workshop maximising productivity, efficiency and profitability.
* Liaise with technicians to maximise workshop efficiency.
* Facilitation of warranty claims procedures as required to ensure warranties are processed in time and in accordance with manufacturers’ policies and procedures.
* Maintaining tools and special equipment.
* Ensure the service department runs smooth and efficiently.
* Maintain a clean and tidy workshop.
* Managing workflow to ensure targets are achieved.
* Encourage & promote good CSI scores.
* Preparing cars for hand over to customers post service.
* Test driving vehicles after work completion. Ensure Waste oil, oil filter bins & brake fluid collections are arranged regularly.
* Maintain constant workflow through the workshop including car sales vehicles for preparation.
* Maintain safe working practices and standards of the Dealership.

Candidate Requirements:

* Must have experience in people management/supervisory/leadership roles.
* Mechanical Qualification desirable but not essential.
* Excellent attention to detail and customer focused.
* Excellent organisation and communication skills and ability to perform in busy, pressurised environment.
* Energetic, enthusiastic and team player.
* Computer Literate.
* Must hold a full clean driver licence.
