Job Vacancy: Lifestart Services CLG is a home-visiting service, delivering child development information, parenting education, and family support to parents of children pre-birth to 5 years of age across in Donegal.
We are now looking to recruit a Financial Officer to join our team.
20-hour post – Monday to Wednesday. The base for this role is in the Lifestart Services Office, Main Street, Newtowncunningham, Co. Donegal.
The successful candidate will have:
ESSENTIAL:
- Experience of Sage 50 Accounts and Collsoft.
- Experience of running Monthly Payroll and processing liability to revenue and year end reports.
- Excellent Budgeting and financial management skills.
- At least 3 years solid and verifiable experience in an accounts-related position
- Experience of writing financial reports to funders.
- Knowledge of submitting financial returns.
- Solid and demonstrable IT skills
- Highly numerate and analytical with a strong attention to detail
- Knowledge and experience of SORP accounting in the not-for-profit sector
- In-depth knowledge of Excel
- Exceptional communication, networking, and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to access information accurately, and quickly.
- Excellent organisational and ICT skills (Information Communication Technology)
- High level of motivation, experience and capacity for lone working and working one’s own initiative.
- Ability to work as a team member, to prioritise workload, and to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
DESIRABLE
- A third level qualification relevant to the post
- Clean driving licence
- Customer relations experience
Salary is Grade IV Clerical (pro rata)
