A woman has been hospitalised with serious injuries following a single-vehicle crash in Derry.
A car had collided with a tree in the Nixon’s Corner area of the Letterkenny Road, shortly before 8.45am this morning, Tuesday.
Police have confirmed that one woman was taken to hospital where she remains in a serious condition.
The Letterkenny Road remains closed.
Diversions are in place at the junction of Lone Moor Road.
Police are advising drivers to avoid the area if possible.
