Plans have been lodged for 32 new houses on the outskirts of Letterkenny.

CR Renaissance Properties Ltd is seeking permission for the development in the townlands of Ardarawer and Kiltoy.

The proposal includes eight three-storey duplex units containing four units each.

Meanwhile, permission is being sought to turn a Ballyshannon bar into residential accommodation.

Aonghus Murphy has lodged plans for the development of three self-contained one bedroom apartments at the former East Port Bar.
