Dunfanaghy Ladies Golf Club Weekly Report

Dunfanaghy Ladies golf season is now in full swing with weekly competitions and team events underway.

Stableford Ladies

Tuesday’s ladies Stableford (11th July) saw Gillian Robinson submit a mighty 40pts to claim victory

  • 2nd: Deborah Moore – 38 pts
  • 3rd: Holly Fitzpatrick – 37 pts b.o.t.
  • Front 9: Frances Rutherford – 22 pts
  • Back 9: Michelle Brady-Corry -19 pts
  • Twos: Deborah Moore – 9th

Captain’s Prize

Saturday’s competition was the Captain’s Prize to the Ladies (15th July).

  • 2nd: Caitlín Hegarty – 39 pts
  • Gross: Alex Barnes – 30 Gross pts
  • 3rd: Olivia Moore – 38 pts
  • Front 9: Joan Doyle – 21 pts
  • Back 9: Theresa Farrell – 23 pts
  • Twos: Joan Doyle – 2nd, Barbara Eakin – 2nd

Away team: Jill McCorkell, Sandra McGinley, Natalie Cummings & Barbara Eakin

Ladies Revive
The Ladies Revive team were in action on Saturday 16th July. There were three matches at home and two matches away against a strong Letterkenny team. A tough competition ensued and, despite defeat, Letterkenny were extremely gracious in defeat.

Captain Heather Hamiliton’s savvy management the team now advance to the Ulster Final.
