Sunset sea dip to raise funds for local mental health supports

Donegal Dips, a local community of open water swimmers, is inviting everyone to join a dip at Rossnowlagh beach in support of a very important local charity.

The event kicks off with a sunset dip and gentle breath work led by Yoga with Sarahmo on July 30 at 9pm, at Rossnowlagh Council Carpark (boardwalk and lifeguard station).

The charity in question is North West STOP, a voluntary community-based organisation that works to prevent suicide by promoting positive mental health, and providing free counselling services for all ages.

On August 26, North West STOP is organising a big event called #sunriseforstop, which will take place across Sligo, Leitrim, Mayo and Donegal. In the run-up to this event, Donegal Dips is hosting a couple of smaller events to raise awareness of this excellent service, and hopefully raise a few euros for them as well.

The event is open to everyone, and Donegal Dips would appreciate it if you could share it with your friends and family. There is absolutely no obligation to donate, as raising awareness is equally important: https://www.idonate.ie/fundraiser/donegaldips
