Two men were hospitalised following an assault at a premises at Lower Main Street in Letterkenny last night.
The incident happened at around 8.45pm.
Gardai rushed to the scene after reports of a serious incident were made.
The men, aged in their 40s and 20s, were taken to Letterkenny University Hospital for treatment.
Their condition is not known.
A Garda spokesperson told Donegal Daily: “Gardaí are investigating an assault that occurred on the 1st August 2023 at 8.45pm in Letterkenny Town, Co. Donegal.
“A man in his 40s and man in his 20s were injured and taken to Letterkenny Hospital for treatment.
“No arrests have been made. Investigations are ongoing.”
