A heartbroken pet owner has been reunited with her two kittens after they were taken from her home in Dunkineely.
Crona Brady yesterday contacted Donegal Daily after the kittens named Flash and Hero were taken from the conservatory of her home in Killaghtee.
The kittens, which belong to her infants sons aged just 4 and 1, were taken between 7 and 8pm on Tuesday evening.
Crona gave whoever took the kittens 48 hours to return them warning that she would contact Gardai with the CCTV footage of the person at her home.
She warned “We have footage of the act which we will be handing over the gardaí in the next 48 hours if our kittens are not dropped back to our house (can be dropped over the wall at the bottom of garden anonymously).
“The kittens names are Flash and Hero. They belong to my two little boys aged 4 and 1 who are so sad today without their pets. Please return our kittens.”
Now Crona has revealed that the two little kittens are back home and are being well looked-after.
One was found in the village and the other was dropped off at Crona’s home.
“We’re so happy to have them home. All we ever wanted was our kittens back,” said Crona.
