Letterkenny Cathedral Quarter events planned for Heritage Week

To mark the most important week in the Letterkenny Cathedral Quarter calendar, a number of events are planned in the locality for Heritage Week. 

The first event is the Cathedral Quarter Jaunt, starting outside Dillons Hotel  on Monday, 14th August at 8pm. Learn about the past, present, and future of the area as we dander up Church Lane, stopping off at Conwal Parish Church and St. Eunan’s Cathedral before wandering down Castle Street, finishing at the bottom of the Market Square. Admission is €5 with, uUnder 16 going free.

Delighted to announce that the Elusive Theatre is returning with two performances of the Cathedral Quarter Experience. The performances are on Wednesday, 16th August at 7.30pm and on Saturday, 19th August at 2.30pm. Begins from outside No. 1 Church Lane and admission is free. Meet characters from our past and discover the events that have helped to shape the area.

Our third event is an Open Day at the Cathedral Quarter Office at No. 3 Church Lane on Friday, 18th August from 10am to 5pm. Find out all about our project and our exciting plans for the future. Admission is free.

So come along to our events and explore our rich past and discover our exciting future. You just might want to get involved.
