Bonagee United were presented with the Donegal Women’s League crown on Monday evening.
The Dry Arch side has retained the title, securing the club’s first back-to-back success, following an emphatic 8-0 win over Letterkenny Rovers.
Caoimhne Heron’s hat-trick spurred Bonagee to a big derby victory with Eimear Sweeney (2), Deborah Kerrigan, Bronagh Gallagher and Catherine Grier also on target.
The title was already secured a week early with Bonagee defeating Drumbar United 5-1 at the same time as Rovers lost 2-0 to Raphoe Town.

On Monday evening, Bonagee hit the front after eight minutes with Sweeney finishing off from a Kerrigan corner.
Heron swept home her first just three minutes later and Heron coolly added another in the 27th minute.
Kerrigan tucked in after good approach work from the hosts before a towering Sweeney header made it 5-0 at the break.
Heron completed her hat-trick and Gallagher stepped up to lash in her 25th goal of the season from the penalty spot with Grier registering her first Bonagee goal with a lofted effort that hit the roof of the net.
