Daniel O’Donnell played to a packed house for a charity concert at the Great Northern Hotel in Bundoran on Thursday night.
Last year, the singer had chosen the only Donegal stop of his Irish tour to benefit the community of Creeslough, and fans flocked to the venue to share in that support.
Daniel’s generous gesture was announced in November, as the Creeslough community reeled from the events of the month prior. Ten people lost their lives in the tragic explosion at the Applegreen service station on Friday 7th October.
All takings from Thursday’s concert were to be donated to the fund for long-term assistance to the Creeslough community.
Daniel O’Donnell also performed at a special Novena mass at St. Michael’s Church Creeslough last November in memory of the deceased members of the parish.
