Over 500 properties have been hit by power outages in East Donegal this morning.
Scattered areas around Castlefin/Rossgeir, Ballybofey and Stranorlar have been impacted by the unplanned faults.
A total of 544 customers have been affected, according to ESB.
The company has apologised for the loss of supply. Staff are currently working to repair the faults and power is expected to be restored by 4pm or earlier.
Hundreds of power outages have also been reported nationwide as Storm Betty brought heavy rain and high winds overnight.
A status yellow rain alert remains in place for Donegal until 11am today (Saturday).
