A local Garda sustained injuries after he responded to a public order incident in Creeslough.
The Garda attended the scene of an incident in the Kildarragh area at 2am in the early hours of Saturday morning last.
The Garda was injured during the incident and had to be taken to Letterkenny University Hospital for treatment.
Investigations are ongoing.
