In tonight’s three Senior Championship games Aodh Rua and Glenswilly came from behind at half-time to make it two wins from two while a late Patrick McBrearty goal (see report also on DD Sport) gave Kilcar the win over St Michaels.
Aodh Rua beat Gweedore by 2-08 to 0-09 in Ballyshannon, two goals early in the second-half setting up the victory, while Glenswilly overcame St.Nauls by 0-16 to 1-11 in Mountcharles, Micheal Murphy producing an excellent second-half performance to see his team through to an important away win.
At MacCumhaill Park the home team got the better of Killybe by 1-12 to 0-12 points in another close encounter, with Joel Bradley Walsh (1-06) and Oisín Gallen (0-05) doing all but one point of the scoring.
In the Intermediate Championship, Termon beat Downings by 2-08 to 1-03, while Letterkenny Gaels and Red Hughs drew 1-7 to 0-10.
In the Junior Championship there were wins for Naomh Conaill and Na Rossa over Lifford and Urris respectively , and a draw between St.Eunans and Muff.
