Errigal College in Letterkenny is basking in the glow of academic success as the Class of 2023 received their exceptional results yesterday.

A noteworthy number of students surpassed the 500-point threshold, marking a significant accomplishment for both the students and the school.

Mr Danny McFadden, Principal, shared his excitement about the remarkable achievements of the students.

“The exceptional results achieved by our Leaving Certificate students reflect their unwavering dedication and commitment to their education. We are immensely proud of their accomplishments,” he said.

“These results are also a testament to the incredible team of staff in our school that have supported and guided our students to ensure they achieve their educational potential.”

The sentiments expressed by the students themselves further emphasised the magnitude of their achievements.

“The support and guidance we’ve received from the school have been instrumental in our success,” said one student who attained over 500 points.

“Errigal College provided us with an environment conducive to growth and learning,” another student added.

The school premises buzzed with jubilation as the students and their families gathered to commemorate this significant milestone over a cup of tea and piece of cake which was offered by the school. The impressive results have ignited a sense of pride and accomplishment within the entire school community.

Mr McFadden extended his well wishes to the students as they embark on their future Journeys.

“As our students move forward, we hope they carry with them the skills, knowledge, and determination that brought them success in their Leaving Certificate,” he said.

“We look forward to seeing the positive impact they will undoubtedly make in their chosen paths. Errigal College’s commitment to fostering a supportive and enriching learning environment has once again borne fruit, with students achieving remarkable academic milestones. The achievements of these students will undoubtedly inspire the other students still in the school and set new benchmarks for excellence.

“The school congratulates the Leaving Certificate Class of 2023 for their hard work and accomplishments, and wishes them success as they step into the next chapter of their lives.”
