Donegal man impresses at Irish Slam Poetry competition

Donegal man Pádraig De Cléire took home second place at the Liú Lúnasa Festival Slam Poetry Competition.

The event took place on Friday25th August in Belfast, where Letterkenny’s Pádraig and nine others took part in the Slam Poetry Competition.

It is known as the only Irish language slam poetry competition.

Pádraig came in second place, with Dublin man Cormac Mac Gearailt in first and Colm Mac Gearailt from Kerry in third place.
