Swimmers and surfers are being warned to remain vigilant for a consistent rip current at the main Bundoran beach.
The current impacts the Great Northern side of the beach.
The advice has been issued as the bathing season winds down.
Donegal beach lifeguards are on duty at Bundoran beach this weekend until this Sunday (3rd Sep).
They are back on for the weekend only on the 9th and 10 of September before finishing for the season.
The advice to all beachgoers is to consider using the Thrupeeny pool or the West End Nun’s pool if no lifeguards are on duty.
