Champion dancing twins Gavin and Niamh Shevlin had passengers’ toes tapping at JFK airport yesterday when they put on a surprise performance before departure.
The Glenswilly duo were flying home from a cruise when they decided to show off their skills to their Stateside Irish dancing fans one more time.
The Shevlin twins had an exciting week performing on Joanie Madden’s Folk ‘N Irish Cruise. The cruise is a week-long celebration of Irish traditional music touring from New York to Canada and New England, hosted by Cherish the Ladies musician Joanie Madden.
The craic was so good, that even after disembarking, the Shevlins had a few more synchronised steps up their sleeves!
The Shevlin twins are proud World Champion Irish dancers who started out at the age of four. They have travelled all over the world from Donegal to perform and compete, but dancing at JFK airport is a new ‘departure’ for them!
