An investigation has been launched after a well-known Donegal surf school’s storage unit went ablaze.
The Adventure One Surf School, based in Fanad, is used by hundreds of keen surfers around Donegal.
The school have a storage unit based at Glassan in Creeslough.
In the early hours of Sunday morning last around 4am the storage unit, which contained a lot of expensive surf gear, went on fire.
The unit was completely gutted as the picture above shows.
The incident has been reported to the Gardai in Milford.
A spokesperson for the surf school took to social media and said “Unfortunately our storage container burnt down on Saturday night with the majority of our gear in it.
“If anyone knows anything please contact Milford garda station. If anyone seen anything around 4am on Sunday please let them know. The location was in Glassan, Creeslough near the school.”
