The hunt for a shoplifting gang continues after another Letterkenny store issued an appeal to find the suspects.
Ben Sweeney Euronics is the latest store to reveal that they were targetted during Saturday’s theft spree.
A number of valuable electrical items were taken from the retailer on Port Road. CCTV footage shows two of the three suspects carrying boxes out of the store.
Watson Hire also had more than €1,500 worth of powertools stolen from their premises on Saturday.
The suspects were caught on CCTV in both cases.
It’s believed that the gang of three men and a woman were travelling in a grey Toyota Avensis and may have Dublin accents. They are understood to have stolen property from other stores in Letterkenny on Saturday.
Gardaí confirmed to Donegal Daily that they received a report about a number of thefts in Letterkenny on Saturday and that their enquiries are currently ongoing.
Any other businesses that have been hit are being urged to report it to the authorities.
