Drivers caught in Inishowen speeding clamp down

A number of drivers were caught speeding in Inishowen last night, as much as 40 km/h over the speed limit.

Gardaí in Buncrana say that a number of drivers were issued fines and penalty points in just one night.

In a post on social media, several of the drivers were detected at speeds over 130 km/h on the N13 road – the fastest being caught doing 143 km/h on the 100 km/h road.

Gardaí say the drivers were issued €160 fines, as well as 3 penalty points on their licences.
