Met Éireann say there is a potential for localised flooding in some areas of Donegal today, as a status yellow weather warning for rain is set to begin later this morning.
The warning comes into effect from 11am this Sunday morning, and is set to last until 8pm tonight.
The national weather forecaster says to expect wet and windy conditions, with heavy and intense showers moving northwards in the late morning, with a potential of spot flooding.
The heaviest of the rain is expected to clear by this evening, but there will still be some potentially thundery showers. Highest temperatures between 16 to 18 degrees today.
