Daniel O’Donnell has done a U-turn on plans to take life a little easier after announcing plans for a bumper tour in Australia and New Zealand next year.
The singing sensation previously revealed that after 40 years on the road he was going to take things a little easier.
The death of his great pal Big Tom in 2018 saw the Donegal man reassess his life.
The passing of the famous Monaghan man along with the arrival of Daniel’s grandchildren encouraged him to spend more time with his family.
“For some it works well and they go on for a long time, but I don’t know that I would like to go on indefinitely,” admitted Daniel.
“I keep saying I’m going to slow down and I have a little.
“I suppose in the future I’ll look at taking more time off. I think everyone has a time when they should finish and I hope when that time comes for me I’ll realise it.”
But it would now appear that the 61-year-old is getting itchy feet once more.
He has just announced a 14 date tour of New Zealand and Australia in February and March of next year.
Tickets for the shows from Auckland to Adelaide have not yet been released.
However, fans have already swamped Daniel’s website and social media channels trying to get their hand son the tickets.
