A total of €4,000 has been donated to the Donegal Down Syndrome Association, from donations collected by the Letterkenny Rotary Club.
The Rotary Club had been collecting donations over the last two years at their monthly confidential paper shredding service, amassing the funds to help fund down syndrome services in the county, including the provision of speech and language therapy, physiotherapy, and swimming lessons.
The cheque was given to the Treasurer of the Donegal Down Syndrome Association, Liam Mulligan, by Rotary Club members Jean Curran and Hazel Russell, and Stephen Caldwell from United Shredding Ltd.
