Motorcyclist hospitalised following Donegal Town collision

Gardaí say that a motorcyclist has been hospitalised, following a collision with a car in the Donegal Town area earlier today.

The collision happened at approximately 3:25pm this afternoon, and a man in his fifties was taken to Letterkenny University Hospital where he is still receiving treatment.

The incident is believed to have happened on the R267 road, near the Drumlonagher roundabout outside of Donegal Town.

Gardaí say investigations into the crash are currently ongoing.
