A boy has been charged in relation to the violent killing of a woman in her 40s in Tullamore, County Offaly yesterday.
It’s believed that Lorna Woodnutt was visciously attacked and murdered on Saturday afternoon by a teenage boy, who subsequently uploaded a video of the killing to social media.
Gardaí have urged the public not to share the graphic video, which had been circulating online.
The boy appeared in court last night in relation to the incident, and will appear at Tullamore District Court again on Wednesday in relation to the charges.
