Gardai in Inishowen have mounted a vehicle safety blitz in recent days.
Officers form the Buncrana Roads Policing Unit seized two vehicles and also issued a number of fines as a result of defective vehicles.
Gardai stopped a vehicle in the Quigleys Point area yesterday and they discovered that the front tyres on the vehicle were excessively worn. Fixed Charge Penalty Notices were issued.
Two other vehicles were seized yesterday as they were not believed to be insured.

Buncrana Roads Policing Unit have been joined by Road Safety Authority Ireland at their checkpoints.
A number of Fixed Charge Penalty Notices have been issued in respect of defective/excessively worn tyres, seatbelt offences & mobile phone related driving offences.
