The HSE’s annual Autumn/Winter vaccination programme is starting today.
Free Flu and Covid-19 vaccines are being offered to all healthcare workers, anyone who is pregnant, or has a long-term health condition.
All those aged over 65 are eligible for a flu vaccine, and all aged over 50 are eligible for a Covid-19 Autumn-Winter booster vaccine.
Both vaccines will be available at participating GPs and Pharmacies, and can be given at the same time. There will also be separate health and care worker vaccine clinics hosted by the HSE.
Vaccines will also be administered to those residing in residential care such as nursing home residents, as well as housebound patients.
