Cash to the value of €278 has been handed over to the Donegal Mountain Rescue Team.
The cash had been handed into Letterkenny Garda Station and was not claimed in a year and a day, Sergeant Gerard Dalton told Letterkenny District Court.
A number of items also handed into the station and which had not been claimed have also been disposed of.
