Hair today, gone tomorrow: a close cut for charity for Fr. Kelly!

Raphoe parish priest Fr Eamonn Kelly was feeling the Autumn breeze more than most this afternoon, after getting his hair and beard shaved for the first time in over 30 years!

At an event in the Diamond in Raphoe this afternoon, Fr Kelly braved the barber’s chair after initially only planning to have his beard shaved, before donations smashed his target – meaning he felt it apt to have everything go in one fell swoop.

Donations have reached more than €12,000, with plenty more donations made by the local Raphoe community today still uncounted!
