Donegal County Council has given the green light for two separate sports-related developments.

Scoil Phadraig National School has been granted permission for the construction of an all-weather sports field with associated flood lighting, fencing and the construction of a pedestrian access ramp.

Meanwhile, Inishowen Rugby Club has been given the go-ahead for the installation of 12 new flood lights at their existing playing pitches in Carndonagh.
