Gardaí are investigating a theft from outside Marks & Spencer Letterkenny last week.

110 food loading trays, with an estimated value of €5,000, were taken from the back of the supermarket on Friday night last.

The green trays are normally stored outside the shop at Letterkenny Retail Park.

However, they were reported stolen at around 10.30pm on Friday 6th October.

Gardaí have issued an appeal for a white transit van (partial registration PHZ) which was seen in the area at the time.

Anyone with any information or dashcam footage is asked to contact Letterkenny Garda Station on 0749167100.
