A man has been arrested after body parts were found in a Cork house by Gardai investigating the disappearance of Tina Satchwell.
The skeletal remains were found in a house in Youghal.
The property is being searched in connection with the investigation which was previously upgraded to a murder probe.
The remains have yet to be identified.
The man, aged in his 50s, was arrested this morning.
Assistant State Pathologist Dr Margaret Bolster arrived at the property on Grattan Street in Youghal on Thursday morning, along with forensic anthropologist Dr Laureen Buckley.
A search of the property began on Tuesday, and it is understood the remains were discovered under floor boards.
Numerous media appeals have been made in relation to Ms Satchwell since her disappearance in March 2017.
