Plans have been submitted to Donegal County Council for a new extension to Scoil Mhuire in Buncrana.
The proposed development will comprise a 2,023 square metre two-storey school building.
The new complex will contain two general classrooms; special teaching rooms for science, home economics and design and communication graphics. It will also contain special education rooms; toilets; ancillary support spaces and 4 no. special needs classrooms with accompanying SEN support spaces and teaching rooms for multisensory, practical activity, and daily living skills.
The application contains a proposal for a roof mounted 4kw photovoltaic panel system.
