Public demonstration in support of Palestine in Letterkenny today

A number of demonstrators have shown their support for the people of Palestine in Letterkenny today.

It’s after flaring tensions in Gaza and the West Bank have led to hundreds of Palestinian civilians being killed by the Israeli army.

Israel has been accused of committing war crimes in Gaza, in retaliation to Hamas attacks earlier this week, including intentional targeting of civilian communities, as well as the limiting and cutting off of gas and electricity supplies to Palestinians in the disputed region.

Local people took to the streets in Letterkenny to show their support for the Palestinian community this afternoon, with  Donegal TD Thomas Pringle also in attendance.
