National: two motorcyclists killed in crashes overnight

Two motorcyclists have been killed in separate crashes overnight.

The first fatal accident occurred in Cloneish in County Roscommon, when a man in his 30s on a motorcycle collided with a car at around 5pm yesterday. The man was pronounced dead a short time later.

The second crash happened in County Kerry at 7pm yesterday evening, when a man in his 40s was killed when his motorcycle collided with a van near Listowel.

The driver of the van, a man aged in his 70s was also hospitalised following the crash.

Gardaí have appealed for information.
