Donegal’s Caitriona Coyle will launch her second novel in her native village of Glen this October, marking another major milestone in her writing career.

The novel Gracie follows Coyle’s successful debut with College Girls in 2017.

A former English teacher, Caitriona took early retirement in 2012 to explore her creative writing. Originally from Glen Village, Caitriona now lives in Dublin.

Her latest release, Gracie, is a powerful and captivating story of a newly wed young woman and her husband who struggle to find their footing when they move to a small Irish village. Quickly they become targets of their scheming neighbours, two pub owner too, who are vehemently opposed to any competition. A treacherous opportunity presents itself, bringing a bittersweet end to a challenging and turbulent journey that would change their lives forever.

Caitriona will host a launch event for Gracie at the Olde Glen on 28th October from 3pm to 5pm.
