Gardaí were called to a protest outside a West Donegal B&B on Monday afternoon.
The protest was launched by a group of asylum seekers, who sat on the lawn of the Loughanure residence where they were staying, holding placards.
The reason for the protest has not been confirmed.
Gardaí were called to the residence as the situation escalated. A number of patrol cars were reported at the scene.
“No criminal offence was disclosed,” said a garda spokesperson.
